This is a general briefing for the LCC and X-Lakes 2026. It covers:
Admin instructions
Flying in the Grasmere valley
Landing Zones and hazards
Campsite rules
The field at Grasmere Sports this year is open to camp from lunchtime on Wednesday 17 June.
Registration is the evening of Thursday 18 June and this is MANDATORY for all competition pilots.
The competitions and coaching group will run Friday 19 June and Saturday 20 June.
Prize-giving and raffle will be on the Saturday evening.
Sunday 21 June we will clear the field but you are still welcome to free fly.
There will be detailed WEATHER and SAFETY briefings on the Thursday night and TASK briefings through the event, depending on the competition that you are taking part in.
