Pete Rycroft walked up Grisedale Pike on Saturday 6 February for a flydown. Here's Stuart (Tom) Thompson, Richard Gray and Kerry Atkinson on take off preparations.
Tom preparing for take off. Note the development over Skiddaw in the background. Over the Solway Firth, the wind was NNE as evidenced by the windmills. However on the northern slopes of Skiddaw, the wind was southerly.

On Friday 19 Febriary Paul Clarke and Dave Ashcroft flew the Wastwater Screes - you can see the main picture on picture of the month, Dave also took this picture of Paul ground handling on the summit of the Screes.
Dave calls this one "Shadow scratching on Scafell"
Mike Cavanagh took this picture of Kitt Rudd on the Coniston ridge. Mike reckons he could have taken some spectacular pictures that day but it wasn't to be as his camera battery died immediately after taking this shot!
